Privacy Policy — Tech Warrior

1. Who we are

Tech Warrior Limited ("Tech Warrior", "we", "us") is a software engineering firm based in Nairobi, Kenya. This policy applies to techwarrior.co.ke and any enquiry you send us through the contact form, WhatsApp, or the on-site chat assistant.

2. Information we collect

We only collect what you give us directly. When you submit the contact form, that's:

Your name, email address, and phone number

Your organisation name

The type of enquiry, budget range, and timeline you select

The message you write to us

If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy in addition to this one. Our web server also logs standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and diagnostics — the same as almost every website you visit.

3. How we use it

Strictly to run the business relationship you started with us:

Responding to your enquiry and, where relevant, preparing a proposal or quote

Keeping a record of the conversation so nothing gets lost if a project moves forward

Sending you a confirmation that we've received your message

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell, rent, or trade it to anyone.

4. Who we share it with

Your enquiry is delivered to our team by email through our mail provider, which processes it solely to deliver the message — it isn't shared any further. We don't use third-party analytics or advertising trackers on this site, so there's no ad network or analytics vendor receiving your data. We'll only share your information beyond this if required by Kenyan law or a valid legal process.

5. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to respond to you and, if you become a client, for the duration of the engagement plus a reasonable period afterwards for accounting and legal purposes. If your enquiry doesn't turn into a project, you can ask us to delete your details at any time — see Section 7.

6. Cookies & tracking

This site does not use tracking cookies, third-party analytics, or advertising pixels. The only thing stored in your browser is standard, temporary session behaviour needed for the page to function (like remembering that you've scrolled past the intro animation) — nothing that identifies you or follows you elsewhere.

7. Your rights

Under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019, you have the right to:

Ask what information we hold about you

Ask us to correct information that's inaccurate

Ask us to delete your information

Object to how we're using your information

Withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the basis for processing

8. Security

Enquiry data is transmitted over an encrypted connection and sent via authenticated SMTP. We limit access to enquiry records to the people who actually need them to do the work. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your information with the same care we'd want a vendor to treat ours.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page. We won't reduce your rights under this policy without your consent.
